Union City Lady Indians fall in the County Tourney
The Indians came prepared to play grabbing an early 15-4 lead and finishing the 1st quarter up 9 and the half up 8. The second half was a different story. The Indians struggled in the 3rd scoring just 4 points to the Falcons 29.
Coach Black had this say: I think the girls played a great game. Winchester is very deep and they just kept throwing new legs at us and I think the combination of that and early foul trouble hurt us in the end. I was proud of the way our girls came out and played from the start. Having the opportunity to play a good team like Winchester twice in the season is a good thing for us and helps us to discuss situations we may run into during the tournament. We saw a lot of nice things out of our team tonight and although we didn't come out with a win I think there are a lot of positives to come out of this game.
