Union City had a conference match up Thursday on the road as they took on the Tri Titans. The Indians couldn't string together too many hits, and were unable to cool off the Titans bats, as they fell 12 - 4 against Tri.

Union City had 8 hits in the contest, but just couldn't put too many of them together to knock in a lot of runs. Cam Luster, (Sr), and Hunter Reagan, (So), both had two hits each, while Jacob Curry, (Sr), Gavin Teeter, (Sr), Josh Crawford, (Sr), and Payne Abel, (Jr), added 1 hit each.

The Indians started Nic Wells on the mound, who went 2 1/3 innings, giving up 6 earned runs on 8 hits, while striking out 4 batters. Senior pitcher, Jacob Bradbury came on in relief, pitching 3 2/3 innings. Bradbury gave up 4 earned runs on 8 hits, and struck out one.

Union City drops to 1 - 4 on the season and will host Winchester for a double-header on Saturday.
