"ATHLETE OF THE WEEK" RANDOLPH COUNTY:  TREVOR THOMPSON - UNION CITY HIGH SCHOOL - FOOTBALL
Trevor Thompson was named the Randolph County Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 7th. Trevor has been on quite a roll the last two weeks. Against Lincoln on September 29th Trevor threw the ball well he was 7 of 18 for 146 yards and 4 TDs (0 INTs) in a leading UC to a comeback win after trailing 20-8 at half. Trevor also had 6 tackles and the game ending interception in overtime to close out the victory. Then this past week he had a even better passing game against a very strong Hagerstown team. Trevor was 20-27 (75%) passing for 203 yards 2 TDs 0 INTs vs Hagerstown. Over the last 2 weeks Trevor is 27-46 349 yards 6 TDs and 0 INTs.

Not only is Trevor a fine athlete he is also involved in several other actives at Union City High School. Trevor is President of National Honor Society, Director of Membership for DECA, FCA member, KISS TV announcer for girls basketball, selected to Youth Salute leadership conference, top 10 finalist for the Lilly Award, and a three sport athlete - football, basketball, and track.

This award is awarded each week in Randolph and Wayne Counties and is sponsored by Wetzel Auto, BSN Sports and Radio Stations WKBV (1490AM/100.9FM, Richmond), G1013FM (Richmond) and WZZY/Star 98.3FM (Winchester).
