Then Reagan topped the month of by winning the first female Athlete of the Month here at Union City. She was nominated by her Coach Justin Daniels. Here is what Coach Daniels had to say about Reagan.
"I would like to nominate Reagan Hoggatt for student of the month.
The reason I feel Reagan deserves to be the student of the month is for multiple reasons. Reagan has a great work ethic on the course as well as off the course. During the month of August Reagan competed in three cross country invitationals and had finishes of 2nd, 7th, 2nd while working on college visits, helping with play practice and keeping a job.
Reagan is the type of athlete every coach wishes they could have. Reagan always makes sure every runner is doing alright and if they are having a bad day she is there to cheer them up.
Reagan is also the team taxi for practices as well as after meets. Reagan goes around and picks up all of the kids that need rides to practice at 6:00am and is always there to offer a ride to the kids that needs rides after practice."
Reagan with being named the Female Athlete of the Month will receive a Premier Parking spot in front of the school and a gift from the Booster Club for being the winner of the Athlete of Month at UC.
Congratulation Reagan job well done.
