INDIANS LOSE TWO IN DOUBLE-HEADER WITH SOUTH ADAMS
Union City IN---Union City hosted a good baseball team in the South Adams Starfires on Saturday for a double-header. Union City saw their win streak come to an end when they lost both games on the day.

In game one, Union City dug themselves a hole early with too many walks, and a few errors, losing 12 - 6.

The Indians sent Jacob Fulk, (Sr), to the hill first. Fulk pitched 3 1/3 innings, giving up 3 earned runs on 3 hits. Senior pitcher, Gabe Loesch, came on to finish off the first game for Union City, going 3 2/3 innings, giving up 2 earned runs on 5 hits, while striking out 5 Starfire hitters.

Union City put up 7 hits in the contest, led by Senior Trevor Spence, who had 2 hits and 4 RBI's, including deep home run to center field. Cam Luster, (Jr), added 2 hits, while Dawson Thornburg, (Sr), Gabe Loesch, (Sr), and Zach Bradbury, (Sr), each added a hit for the Indians.

Union City dropped game two as well, 21 - 11.

The Indians put up 11 hits in the second game, including two home run blasts. Loesch and Gavin Teeter, (Jr), each put one over the fence in game two, each with 2 RBI's in the game. Jacob Bradbury, (Jr), and Luster led the way with two hits each for Union City, while Spence, Jacob Moore, (Jr), John Carpenter, (So), Cole Hughes, (So), and Hunter Reagan, (Fr), each had one hit.

The Indians record moves to 12 - 4 on the season. Union City will be on the road Monday to play a conference game against Knightstown.
